Located just a short drive north of the hotel, the Opa Locka Executive Airport features no landing fees and full services. As a designated reliever to Miami International Airport, those flying privately will find KOPF an excellent alternative to the busy airspace of KMIA.
Opa Locka Executive Airport is Miami's oldest airport, built on land owned by none other than Glenn Curtiss himself. It was once the winter home of the Goodyear Blimp, and still serves as the US Coast Guards busiest air/sea rescue station.
